The history of the Baldacci family in the restaurant business goes all the way back to 1933 when they opened their first restaurant The Baltimore. The aura of The Baltimore is still felt in Bangor to this day. The restaurant known as “under the bridge” located at 15 Union St. was one of the first places in the area to serve pizza! 

In 1985 Bob and Rosemary Baldacci opened Momma Baldacci’s at 12 Alden St., just off Broadway in Bangor, Maine. This legendary restaurant was not only a family favorite for regulars but also played host to numerous Poleticians, Actors, and Pro Athletes. 

The restaurant enjoyed success all the way until 2008 when they closed their doors for good. In January of 2019 Momma Baldacci’s was resurrected by 4th generation owner Paul Baldacci Jr. and his wife Hannah. Catering Weddings, Concerts, Corporate Events, Birthday’s and Private Events. We’d love to cater your next outing!

The menu is a mix of Italian-American regional cuisines. The menu changes with the seasons.
